5 years is a long time when you're a kid, then you grow up and it feels like 5 minutes. So much has happened since the start, and it's difficult to write it all down, but we wanted to share some of our milestones along the way.
Five years ago we set up Prickly Peach Films, a side project alongside our university studies.
We met on our first day of university, we both went to the wrong room and got chatting in the lift on the way to the right one.
We instantly clicked, to the point where people assumed we'd come together from the same college.
In our second year of uni, we set up Prickly Peach Films as a side project alongside our studies.
Four years ago we graduated from university with first-class degrees.
It felt like only two minutes had passed from the day we met until we graduated. And after completing uni, our lifelong passion for film and storytelling just wouldn’t let us separate.
Three years ago we took it full-time and moved into our first office.
Moving into Riverside is always going to be one of our favourite chapters. The Ikea trips, furniture building, plant buying, and photo arranging were our first taste of having our own place that felt like us and was a joy to work in.
You literally couldn't get us out of that place. We'd be there from 8am - 6pm some days, loving every minute.
Our office has seen it all. From the highs to the lows, hundreds of meetings, late-night takeaways and storyboard charade-esque performances (sorry to our downstairs neighbours).
Two years ago we won East Cheshire Start up business of the year.
A very surreal moment for us, and the first time we'd really got a chance to properly celebrate with our families together.
One year ago, that ‘side project’ helped buy us our first homes.
We finally both flew the nest and bought our own first homes. Another huge moment that we'll cherish for a long time knowing our grafting really had paid off.

And only today, have we looked back and realised how far we've come.
A huge thank you to all of our family, friends, and clients who have believed in us and supported us throughout the past 5 years. We can’t wait to see where the next 5 take us.
